Cornerstone OnDemand

As a Sr. SDET, you will be automating

and testing solutions that scale to meet the needs of some of the largest and

most innovative organizations in the world. You will work with team members to

understand and exceed the expectations of users, constantly pushing the

technical envelope, and helping Cornerstone deliver great results. Working in an

agile software development framework focused on development sprints and regular

release cycles, you’ll own the complete Quality of the features delivered.

In this role you will..

• Build high-quality, reliable QA automation to support rapid deployments.

• Develop QA tooling and infrastructure to help engineering teams measure and increase their velocity.

• Collaborate with all disciplines during our agile development cycle to solve complex engineering problems.

• Adopt a fast-moving, high-quality CI/CD mindset.

• Conduct research on emerging technologies.

• Analyze product and technical user stories and create, document and execute relevant testable scenarios.

• Develop, maintain and enhance test automation framework and test infrastructure as needed.

• Participate in release planning, sprint planning, and technical design reviews; provide input as appropriate,

• Partner with engineers, product managers, and other team members as appropriate

• Run manual exploratory tests on our products to validate and verify overall end user experience (Sr. SDET + Manual)

• Be required to take the responsibility of being an SME for your domain.

• Be required to be the front line for defect leakages and help in troubleshooting product issues.

You’ve got what it takes if you have…

• 5+ years of hands-on experience

• 2+ years of experience in software development or test automation using Java, Python, C++, C#, JavaScript, or a similar high-level language.

• 2+ years of experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills in a technical environment.

• Good understanding of an Agile SDLC

• Self-motivated, requiring minimal oversight.

• Good teammate with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

• Ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent degree and experience
